An additional +4 hours of leeway are included in each month at no extra cost. From the fifth extra hour onward (beyond the stated allotment for a tier), extra hours are charged per hour at that tier’s rate and are billed separately from retainer invoices at the end of the monthly billing period (which starts on the contract initiation day rather than the first day of a month).
There is no reimbursement for a quantity of extra hours accumulated that would have put you into a subsequent tier. If you are approaching that milestone (and believe you may have underestimated the amount of monthly work you required), you can cancel the current retainer and upgrade to the higher tier, restarting a new billing period from Day One.
Unused hours do not rollover into the subsequent monthly billing period. The retainer plan can be cancelled at any time, but reimbursements will only be applicable for the current monthly billing period and will only reimburse unused hours.
Updated timesheet provided after every project or engagement. Each contract is good for 12 months. Refunds available within first 6 months, but will subtract used hours and may adjust discount rate if actual hours used reflects a lower tier.
